Summary- Real Estate The Real Estate Industry is a unique industry in which helps provide the basic necessity of shelter in our nation. The Real Estate industry is more than just shelter and housing. It includes a plethora of properties including: apartments, condominiums, cooperatives, farms, retail stores, office buildings, shopping centers, warehouses, medical centers, etc. The Real Estate Industry is ran by thousands of licensed professionals who have the intention of selling, leasing, managing, and appraising different types of property. The Real Estate Industry can be a part time job for everyone and something to do on the side.

Real Estate Developer Real Estate Development is one of the most risky positions in the Real Estate Industry. However, if done right this can lead to a very successful life. You enter this business from working for another developer, moving up to construction manager, or you can do it on your own with small transactions. Qualities of good developers consist of: work done on time, establishing time estimates, managing labor, and getting the appropriate equipment operators and construction crews that are working on your project.

Branches Within The Field The Real Estate Industry is divided into four fields. Sales & Leasing: From Real Estate Brokers to Larger Corporation in which broker big commercial properties. (for example: office towers) Management: Real Estate Property Managers are responsible for maintaining property values. Development: Real Estate Developers are required to know how to take a property idea and make it happen. Acquisitions & Analysis: Real Estate requires an individual to understand the value of property and the specification of land-use regulations, zoning laws, environmental impact reports, financing realities, and the ways of developing and buying properties.
