14. Strategic legislation Be smart (strategic) on who you ask. Do your research! Doesn’t have to be your legislator. Partner with someone who UNDERSTANDS AND HAS RESULTS, not just because they are a lobbyist.

15. My two cents…. Key relationships are critical to getting things done. Be ‘smart’ and not just ‘busy’ in cultivating. Take time to do your homework. Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up.
