1. 19 th Annual Golf Tournament Friday, June 7, 2013 THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF HAWAII HALE PONO EWA BEACH “Great Futures Starts Here” THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF HAWAII The Hale Pono Ewa Beach Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii helps instill self-esteem in young people ages 7-17 and provides them with a positive alternative to youth gangs, drugs and other negative influences. For an annual membership fee of $1, youths are provided with structured activities ranging from billiards and bowling to community service and career exploration. Conveniently located between Ilima Intermediate, James Campbell High School and Pohakea Elementary, the Club has attracted thousands of members since its inception in 1989. The club receives funding from the following sources: Aloha United Way, the State of Hawaii Office of Youth Services, the Friends of Boys & Girls Club, private donors, area developers and area businesses.
