I will assess reading levels, number recognition and writing, and letter/sound recognition. I will share the results at conferences. If you have not done so, please turn in the cherry colored conference sheet so I can finish the schedule. If you are able to join us in class on November 16 th from 9:30-11 for American Education Week, please return the green form I sent home. Thank you! We will analyze the author’s message of each book, writing style, and decide on our favorites! Writing- writing true stories, making our pieces the best they can be, celebrating our work Math- we will create number stories, symmetry paintings, and look for symmetry in nature Science/Social Studies- We will learn about the author Mo Willems. Layla loves to learn and is excited about everything we do in school. One of Layla’s many strengths is writing and drawing. She works very hard on her stories and will spend several days on one story getting them just right! We are SO lucky Layla is in our class!
