3. EVAPORATION ‼ Evaporation is when water enters the air as water vapor. ‼ The sun heats up water and it evaporates into the air.

4. CONDENSATION ff Condensation happens as water vapor condenses. As the water vapor condenses clouds form. ff The water vapor condenses and clouds form.

5. PRECIPITATION  Water drops clump together and get heavy.  When the water gets too heavy they fall as precipitation.

6. RUN-OFF ₅ After precipitation the water soaks into the ground. ₅ The water that does not soak into the ground runs down a hill into puddles, streams, lakes.
