2. Introduction I am going to be talking about 2 different apps. One app is called Tripomatic, which is a city guide, and the other app is called 3000+ Fractions, which is a learning app.

3. Learning App A learning app is a app that is educational and teaches people things they want to learn. I am going to discuss the app 3000+ Fractions. This is a educational app that people can use to learn about fractions.

4. Purpose This app is good for children who are at school learning about fractions or children who struggle with fractions. The app is split into 3 sections. This is handy as if you only struggle with a certain area of fractions you can focus on that certain area. This meets the app market needs as it helps children learn and improve their knowledge.

5. User requirements Ages of 4 – 18. For any gender. You don’t really need technical skills as the app is easy to navigate around. Contains a lot of information and activities. It involves quizzes to test your knowledge so you know what to improve on. Contains a dictionary so you can search up definitions of the words you do not know the meaning of.

6. User Friendliness The app looks quite easy to use as it has different sections with headings so you know what buttons to press. The user navigates through the app by pressing the section they want to learn. However it does not have a search bar or navigation bar.

7. Dependence of particular hardware In order for this app to run it needs a touch screen and a keyboard so you can type in your answers. It does not need a camera, speaker, microphone or Wi-Fi.

8. Interface elements The app does not have many different features. It does not have search boxes or drop-down boxes. It does have back buttons and buttons like that.

9. Integration with software Does not have a contacts list. You can not send text messages. It does not have a notification area. It does not involve instant messaging. Does not connect to social media.

10. Platforms and compatibility The app runs on : iOS But does not run on : Android Blackberry OS Windows

11. How do these features affect usability and intended use On the app children can take quizzes and start activities to improve their knowledge on fractions. It is not very appealing as it has boring and dull colours. It is only compatible on IOS. People like the fact it is split into 3 sections.

12. Strengths of the app People have not rated this app yet. I think the app is ok as it helps children with their maths. I rate it 3/5 stars all around. The quizzes and activities make the app more interesting. The apps and quizzes impress me. It is better than many other education apps as it has different sections to the app.

13. Weaknesses People have not rated the app yet. I think that the app is not visually appealing because it uses dull colours. The visual aspect of the app could be improved by using brighter colours.

14. City Guide App Introduction A city guide app is a app that helps you navigate around a town or city that you haven't been to. If you were on holiday it would tell you were all the best restaurants are. I am going to discuss the app Tripomatic. This app helps you organise your schedule for your trip. It also helps you organise your trip plan.

15. Purpose Tripomatic is a good app for anyone who likes to keep to be organised. You can create your trip plan on your computer online and then download it on your phone through the app afterwards. This meets the needs of the mobile app market as it helps people keep organised and have a good trip.

16. User Requirements Targeted at adults who travel a lot for business. You do need to have good technical skill as you need to know how to use this app to organise their trip. The app contains maps, itinerary and images of places. This app is good for business men and woman.

User Friendliness Is easy to navigate through as it contains a search bar and a side bar to help you navigate through the app. It is a touchscreen and computer designed app so you can use it on your computer and phone. The colour scheme is also good as it allows you to see all the icons really easily.

22. How do these features affect usability and intended use On the app people can plan holidays or business trips. It is very appealing as it has a bright colour scheme. It is compatible on most platforms. People like the fact it has a offline mode.

23. Strengths of the app It is very handy and keeps your schedule organised. It is appealing to business men and women because it helps them keep their schedule organised. You can use it on the computer and on smart phones or tablets. Websites layout is good. It is a free app. On the android app store it is rated 3 and a half stars and one person said “Great app!”.

24. Weaknesses of the app Some people said that the app was “Confusing and disappointing.” They also said that “it fails to trips and destinations.” This app could improve by having some sort of connection to social media because then they can share their schedules with their friends.

25. Similarities between the 2 apps They both have aspects that make them interesting. They both are meet the markets expectations. They both have a offline mode. They are both available on IOS. They are both unavailable on Windows.

26. Differences between the 2 apps Tripomatic is more visually appealing than 3000+ Fractions. Tripomatic has navigation bars where as 3000+ Fractions does not 3000+ Fractions has quizzes and different activities for people to do. Tripomatic is more highly rated than 3000+ Fractions.
