Cost of War Cost for one U.S. soldier for one year- $390,000 Spent and approved spending though 2010 is $900 billion In October 2009, the monthly spending was $7.3 billion Over $10 billion that was mismanaged or wasted in Iraq Estimated cost is at $3 trillion Over $1 billion missing in tractor trailers, tank recovery vehicles, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and other equipment $9 billion lost in U.S. tax payers money
