3 Solving Systems of Inequalities n Graph the inequalities y + 1 < -x y ≥ 1. n The solution is the section of overlap.

4 Solving Systems of Inequalities n To graph a system of inequalities using the calculator, just plug in the two inequalities and graph. Make sure you use the correct inequality for each one. (Type, F6, F1-F4)

5 Solving Systems of Inequalities n From your two inequalities, you should get a region of the graph that is double shaded. (you may want to use different colors or means of shading for each inequality)

6 Solving Systems of Inequalities n This region is your solution. n What does this mean? n Any point in this double-shaded region would solve BOTH equations!!!
