2. Linear This picture was taken on a structure by the docks at Columbia river. I chose this picture because it has a straight line on the railings of this structure.

3. Absolute Value This picture was taken on a road trip to somewhere in Oregon with my friends during the summer. A V-shape is created in the mountains similar to how an absolute value function would be.

4. Quadratic This picture was taken at the Fort parking lot. This is my friends civic eg and I chose this picture because the wheel wells show two quadratic functions.

5. Square Root A square root function starts off curving upwards then directs to one side. This is a picture of a boosted Subaru brz with a curved intercooler pipe similar to a square root function. This brz was built by PRE (Performance Race Engineering) located in Portland

6. Reciprocal This is a picture of a scraped eclipse at a local pick-n-pull. I chose this picture to represent a reciprocal function because I saw the two lines curving in opposite directions. There is one line starting from the bottom of the wheel well curving up and towards the side of the vehicle. The other line forms from the trunk curving upwards towards the roof

7. Cubic This picture was taken in Canby, Oregon at a Drift event. This car is a 240sx with a Toyota 1jz swapped engine. The representation of this cubic function is on the intercooler piping because it has two curves and opposite ends going directly away from each other.

8. Exponential Growth/Decay This is a picture of a Hyundai Genesis coupe Taken at a local car meet in Vancouver I chose this picture because on the quarter glass there is a line that curves down and to the side like an exponential decay function.

9. Logarithmic Growth/Decay This picture was taken at this creek when I went on a walk. I chose this picture because the edge by the water forms a curve like a logarithmic decay function.
