Use in the Classroom In the early years this program could be used to support: Literacy – creating pictures to support stories, text function would allow children to write captions. Maths – the shape function provides children with a large number of different shapes to experiment with shapes and create pictures using them.

Positives and Negatives Such a wide variety of functions. Simple instructions and large icons make it easy to use. Extra options, such as slideshow, means that it has a more versatile use in the classroom. It is hard to move images once they have been positioned. It might take children a while to navigate between the different tools on the toolbars.
