12. Password Policies Password policies are stringent as parents are using Credit cards for online fee payment. Change of password should be done for both parent and student log in after logging in for first time. Password expires after every 90 days Forgot password link will work after typing the log in ID. It will send an email of a link. On clicking the link, another mail will be sent with new password. This mail will go to the email ID entered by you in the system, under Father details in Family details tab available under EDIT button in self service. Please refer to slide number 54 to know more about self service

16. Description of Side Tabs Actions and My Posts used by administrator of ION only COMMUNITIES tab will enable you to change the communities. By default is Sulonian Clicking on COURSE you are able to navigate to the standard specific information of your ward. This tab is for taking online exams. Its activated whenever online exam is scheduled. It enables you to go through various WIDGETS. It enables you to go through various QUICK LINKS. Kindly Ignore this. Refer to top right corner of the screen for CALENDAR. The posts added to FAVORITES by clicking on star icon will be readily available here. This tab shows you the history of your actions.

18. Course Page View Course gives standard specific information. Teachers upload worksheets and notes here. To see if any notes are uploaded, keep Course & Activities tab in expanded form. Otherwise collapse it. This can be done by clicking on + and – sign available on left of the tab.

ONLINE FEE PAYMENT It can be done between 1 st to 7 th of every month It can be done using parent or student log in Receipt will be visible after two hours real time If online fee payment is being done for the first time from any machine, the certificate has to be enabled in Firefox by doing the steps given in following 3 slides. Do not worry about the message “The connection is un trusted”. This is the standard message displayed by Firefox for the first time. Please check all details and edit if necessary. Editing will be effective only from parent log in.
