7 ECFA European Committee for Future Accelerators ApPEC General Assembly, Rome April 4 Future representative in RECFA: Stavros Katsanevas (ApPEC chairman) apology for todays meeting Many thanks to Marice Bourquin for his many contributions to RECFA! May 4, 2013RECFA Copenhagen7

8 ECFA European Committee for Future Accelerators Country Visits 2014 Israel (spring) Following our list the next countries to be visited are:Germany, UK, Czech Republic Mid term reports: Foreseen for Plenary ECFA November 2013 are: Germany, UK ????? – this makes not much sense… May 4, 2013RECFA Copenhagen8

9 ECFA European Committee for Future Accelerators PECFA Reform Question about role/efficiency of PECFA Started discussion in RECFA May 2012 I asked PECFA for suggestion July 2012 Very few responses: more discussion time, name badges. Is the composition (number of PECFA members per country) satisfactory? May 4, 2013RECFA Copenhagen9

Implications on government of ECFA? Be more restrictive, work out formula for number of members per country. More restrictive - more important! Motivation to attend the meetings? Please discuss with your colleagues at home. We will pick up this issue at one of our next meetings.
