3. ISAT Testing Dates  Testing window – March 3-14 th, 2014  Third grade will be testing March 3-7 th  Make-up testing will be March 10-14 th

4. Purpose & Results  ISAT measures individual student achievement relative to state standards  The results are used to determine Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for schools, district, and state  Parent reports will be available next school year

5. Subjects Tested in 3 rd Grade  Reading  50 multiple choice items & 1 extended response item  Mathematics  65 multiple choice items, 2 short answer response items & 1 extended response item

6. What’s New?  IL is transitioning to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS)  This is the last year for ISAT  New assessment in 2015: Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career (PARCC) Assessment  CPS is NOT using ISAT for promotion in grades 3, 6, 8
