3. Bears Track Philosophy
Our schedule is set up for all abilities to participate.
We want the athletes to be the best track and field athletes that they can be
We want to represent our community in a positive fashion
We want to be positive role models

4. Player Info
All athletes need to go to the website and complete the Information form
Turn in a completed physical PRIOR to the first day of practice
Practice starts Jan. 19

5. Academic Eligibility You must pass 5 out of 6 classes this semester
You must be on track to graduate to participate

6. Practice Practice is Monday through Friday from 2:30 until 4:30
Please have rides at the school at 4:30
We will announce cancelations due to weather on Twitter and Remind

7. Meets Meet schedule is on the website
All meets during the week will have buses to and from the meet
Weekend meets DO NOT have buses
It will be cold- plan accordingly and bring extra layers
Bring healthy snacks and plenty of water
Athletes not riding the bus home must check out with a coach prior to leaving

8. Injuries Do not stay home and not come to practice
First notify the coaches

If you see a doctor for an injury you must bring back a doctors slip stating when you can return to competition and practice.
There is a difference between being sore and an injury

9. Track and Field Booster Club
Dues are $200 this season
Must be paid in full by January 15th
Pays for new uniforms, meet entries, equipment, snacks, travel, banquet, awards, etc.

10. Player Gear
All gear (sweats, t-shirts, polos, etc.) are available for purchase on the website

11. Fundraiser
Coke Sales
Each athlete is responsible for selling 10 cases of coke products
Buy-Out Option- $50 buy out and you do not have to participate
