Athletic Trainers and Impact Test Athletic Training Department – Steve Pritchard, Joe Kopacz and Katie Vasich Seeing our training staff and school physicians vs. seeing your own doctors. ImPACT Test – Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing – computer based evaluation for sports concussion – helps establish baseline of cognitive functioning – if athlete suffers concussion can be used to assist in returning athlete to participation

SPRING FITNESS TRAINING Lifting and fitness training is from 2:30-3:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday beginning on March 1st. There is no lifting during spring break or finals week. March 1 and 3April 12 and 14 March 8 and 10April 19 and 21 March 15 and 17April 26 and 28 March 29 and 31May 3 and 5 April 5 and 7May 10 and 12

SUMMER FITNESS PROGRAM Summer fitness begins the week after school is out on Monday and Wednesday’s from 10:30am-12:30pm. We meet on the Post Office Fields, go in to weight room in Catan’s Stadium and then conclude our session back at the PO Fields. Bring running shoes as well as soccer shoes. May 23 and 25June 27 and 29 May 30 and June 1July 6 June 6 and 8July 11 and 13 June 13 and 15July 18 and 20 June 20 and 22

SUMMER OPEN SOCCER Captains will organize open play on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s during the summer. A schedule and location will be communicated out and posted to our team web site prior to the end of school.

adidas National High School Soccer Showcase 16 th Edition – Event has grown from a 24 team boys event to a 350 team – two weekend event – for boys and girls HS and MS teams – 1 wk only this year due to Republican Nat’l Convention Money raised goes to SSO capital improvements fund and SHS Boys and Girls Soccer Programs Significant volunteer support is needed for the event Premier College Combines to organize Freshmen Top Flight, Sophomore Clinic, and JR/SR Spotlight Games – on Thur 7/28
