MAKE THE MOST OUT OF EACH ACTIVITY The key to success is staying focused on your coursework Make a list to get an overall picture of your workload before you start to tackle the tasks Then make a plan: It is tempting to do the simplest assignments first, however, those that take time and effort to accomplish are usually the ones you learn most from. Rank assignments in order of importance Rearrange your time and energy towards those that have the greatest impact on your course work and grades Focus on High Impact Activities Sophia Learning, LLC 2013

CREATE SOMETHING NEW Changing your approach can help you stay interested in what you’re doing. Think about similar assignments in different ways. For example: If you wrote a paper on a historical topic next time try a biography If you wrote a marketing plan, next time cover an operational issue If you did a creative writing project, follow-up with a poetry work Challenge Yourself Sophia Learning, LLC 2013
