CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ** CURRENT WORDING in the Constitution: II.A.i. For the purposes of Senate business, the term "Faculty" includes persons having the title Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Research Professor, Research Associate Professor, Research Assistant Professor, Librarian, Archivist and Assistant Archivist, and also includes those retired from these positions.

** PROPOSED AMENDED WORDING in the Constitution: II.A.i. MID-TERM ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION "Resolved that: Each course syllabus will identify the mechanisms that are used to provide students with assessment of their progress during the semester. By mid-semester, students should receive some form of assessment that indicates their standing in the class. The mechanism of assessment can be determined by each faculty member and does not imply a letter grade."
