3. Overview of Procedure Rough up one side of your plastic with sandpaper. Draw a dot in each corner of the rectangle traced above. Lay plastic rough side up on handout and trace dots through paper with a dark colored-pencil. Make the dots small. Use your ruler to measure the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal distance between the dots. Record measurements. Trace rectangular piece of plastic on handout.

4. Overview of Procedure Draw a snazzy picture on the rough side of the plastic, include your initials and the date somewhere - color your picture with colored pencil. Bring plastic to the oven for shrinking. Punch a hole in the plastic before heating if you would like to hang it later. Get shrunken plastic and follow the handout for the math stuff. Complete the handout. Discussion at 11:30. Make two additional length measurements on your picture.
