College Admissions Requirements Online Application SAT/ACT Tests Transcript Information Required Classes

College Applications Applications can be found online at the college’s website. Most applications have a $50 fee the can be sent with the application. Transcripts can be sent by the counseling office. Students need to fill out a Transcript Request Form. Forms are available in the high school office. Washington State Colleges

Required Classes for University Admission ENGLISH – 4 Years MATH – Algebra, Geometry & Algebra 2 SOCIAL STUDIES – 3 Years SCIENCE – 3 Years ART – 1 Year FOREIGN LANGUAGE – 2 Years

SAT & ACT Test Students can take either test. (They don’t have to take both.) Students should take it Spring of 11 th grade year. SAT Test DatesACT Test Dates October 10, 2012September 8, 2012 November 3, 2012October 27, 2012 December 1, 2012December 8, 2012 January 26, 2013February 9, 2013 March 9, 2013April 13, 2013 May 4, 2013June 8, 2013 June 1, 2013 Registration deadlines are usually one month before the test date. SCHOLARSHIPS!!! Search engines can do a lot of the work for you. See the section on the school’s counseling website for a list of different search engines that can be used. Scholarship Guide

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Pell Grants State NEED Grants Opportunity Grants Work Study Loans Financial Aid is based only on income. FAFSA forms can be submitted on January 1 st, 2013. Income Tax forms are needed for students to complete application. FAFSA forms should be submitted by February 15 th. FAFSA
