4 ON THE DAY  Be in on time!!  Be available / contactable  Mobile, answer phone, voicemail –Good practice to be available until the start of the last match of the day –Reconfirm matches - especially in bad weather

7 THURSDAY MORNING HEADACHES Be in on time Then you need to ascertain the following: 1. What is the problem? 2. What regulations may have been broken? 3. Can I solve this? 4. Does the BUSA Office need to be involved?

8 EXAMPLE 1. Problem Opposition had a member of staff referee a Tier 2 football match 2. Regulation Referee needs to be qualified 3. Can I Solve? The referee was qualified = speak to opposition 4. Does BUSA office need to be involved? Only if the referee is NOT qualified
