Page 2© Crown copyright 2004 TAMDAR v Radiosonde For the first look we manually searched and sorted TAMDAR data and operational radiosonde ascents for comparison with the RSKOMP radiosonde comparison software. Radiosonde ascents were selected from stations that were closely located to airports where aircraft fitted with TAMDAR units operate, and sonde ascents chosen that were within an hour of take off or landing.
