3 CONFIDENTIAL Configuration Summary All Attributes, Rules, and Flows are defined at the segment level called ‘Lift Stations’ All Pricing and BOM data are stored Global Tables There is one configurable attribute for each of the 13 (+ Depth & Diameter) Configurator questions.

4 CONFIDENTIAL Modifying BOM, Costing, and Pricing Data The part number data for the BOM (not for the printed documents), is stored in Global Tables on the site. To access Global Tables: 1. From the Admin section, select ‘Web Manager’ 2. Click on ‘Global Script Data Tables’ c 1 2 3 3. You will see a list of global tables on the site

5 CONFIDENTIAL Modifying BOM, Costing, and Pricing Data The list of tables related to Basin Packages, are listed in the Excel spreadsheet with all the data. Follow the steps below to make any modifications: 1.Make data changes to the spreadsheet, following all data formatting standards. (Look at other entries in that table if you are unsure about the format) 2.Save that particular worksheet as a CSV (Comma delimited file) from the Excel ‘File’- >’Save As’ menu. 3.Browse to the Global Table section on the site and click on the ‘Edit’ link for the table you are modifying. 4.Choose ‘Select All’, and hit Delete. Keep repeating this until there are no more entries. 5.Click on the ‘Import’ button on the next screen at the bottom of the page. 3. You will see a list of global tables on the site c c

6 CONFIDENTIAL Uploading Excel CSV Files 6. From the screen below, click on ‘Browse’ to choose your saved CSV file. 7. Next, click on ‘Import from File’ to upload the new data. 3. You will see a list of global tables on the site 1 2

7 CONFIDENTIAL Deploying Global Tables Once a table has been modified, it needs to be ‘Deployed’ before it is placed into production. To do this, just check the box next to the table name, and then click on ‘Deploy’ 3. You will see a list of global tables on the site

8 CONFIDENTIAL Accessing the FTP Site and Editing Data for the Printed Documents (Specifications/Manual/Submittals) What Do I need to Know to Edit Data? Log on to the BigMachines FTP resources site: Host: resources.bigmachines.com Login: Cranepumps Password: cran1004 Browse to the ‘CPS-PFF’ folder. This is where all the data is stored for Basin Packages documents The ‘xml’ folder has XML data files for the Specifications, Manual, and Submittals The ‘manual-images’ folder has images used by the Manual The ‘submittal-images’ folder stores all images used by the Submittals

9 CONFIDENTIAL Specifications Word RTF Document XML Spec Data XSL Logic Specifications (Word Doc) Design What do I need to know in order to edit the data? All texts will be stored in one XML data file. This is the only file that you will need to modify. This file is found in the ‘CPS-PFF’ folder, and is called ‘specdata.xml’ XML From BM XML Attribute Map XML Database

XML From BM 26 XML Data Files XML Attribute Map XML Database Each of the 26 Manual pages is stored in it’s own XML data file. These files can be found in the ‘CPS-PFF/xml/manual’ folder on the BM FTP site. Design

11 CONFIDENTIAL Basin Package Submittals PDF XSL Logic Submittals (Acrobat PDF) What do I need to know in order to edit the data? XML From BM 7 XML Data Files from FTP XML Attribute Map XML Database There are 7 total XML data files for the Submittals. Each of these files can be found on the FTP site under the ‘CPS-PFF/xml/submittal’ directory. 3 files for the 3 pumps pages 1 file for Basin Assemblies 1 file for Control Panels 1 file for Accessories 1 file for Warranty Design

13 CONFIDENTIAL Static Links – Drawings, Brochures, Schematics The PDF files for these documents are found in the ‘Pressure Sewer’ folder on the resources.bigmachines.com FTP site. You can update the necessary files in this folder. It is important to make sure that the letter case matches EXACTLY with the files you are updating. Any changes to the logic, or to add any new Drawings, Brochures, Schematics requires a modification in the XSL file (on the site) for the corresponding document. Detailed directions on how to access and modify XSL files on BigMachines can be found at: http://resources.bigmachines.com/cranepumps/data/CPS-PFF/help/XSLTtraining/index.htm The above guide also applies to the Specifications, Manual, and Submittals XSL files

14 CONFIDENTIAL Configurator Attribute Help Text c All attribute help text is stored in the ‘basinhelp.js’ file on the resources FTP site, under the folder ‘Javascripts’. You can edit this file using any plain text editor such as Notepad (Not Word). The format of the file is self explanatory.
