GAME DESIGN That Hat Game Variation of beer pong with hats and levels associated with punishment tasks  Every iteration is different – players generate tasks  Limited time component – 60 seconds per round  Friendly strategic competition  Motor skills

 2 Hats  Beer  Ping pong balls  Post-it notes  Writing instrument MATERIALS

Get drunk Embarrass each other Have fun GOALS

HOW DO WE PLAY? 1.Everyone gets together and writes a combined total of 10 punishment tasks (e.g. do 10 push-ups, take a shot of vodka) on post-it tabs – one task per post-it 2.Put post-it tabs with tasks in a hat 3.Teams take turn drawing a task and putting them on a level on their hat until all levels are labeled with a task 4.One person on each team wears a hat. Players on the same team have to stand at least 10 feet away from each other. For 60 seconds, their partner has to toss as many ping pong balls in the hat as they can. Players who are tossing ping pong balls must drink a swig of beer before attempting to toss each ping pong ball. Players wearing the hats can distract each other to prevent their partners from getting balls in (e.g. push each other, tickle each other) 5.At the end of the 60 seconds, identify the levels (if any) that have been filled by ping pong balls. The opponents must complete the task marked for that level 6.Players on the same team switch positions 7.Repeat steps 4 – 6 until one team reaches all 5 levels and the other team completes all 5 associated tasks RULES

GAME PLAY 1. Writing punishment tasks and marking levels2. Drinking and tossing ping pong balls into hats 4. Winning and celebrating after a great game 3. Complete punishment tasks for filled levels
