3. + 3 Today’s Objective… Today we are going to analyze the effect religion has had on the shaping of democracy using this lecture and our textbooks.

It allowed the moral code of Judaism (10 Commandments) to be widely accepted.

Rediscovered the Greek and Roman philosophers Reformation: Martin Luther questions the Roman Catholic Church which had not been done until this point. Breaks way from RCC and begins Lutheran (Protestant) religion
