Schneider Electric 2 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●After performing step mentioned in document “4c- Defining HMI.ppt”, right click on PLC and click on NEW PLC under the Topological Model. ●This window will appear:

Schneider Electric 3 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Give proper name of PLC and description. The name of the project will be assigned automatically by the system and will be the name of the PLC. ●Click on drop-down window of the PLC family and select M340. ●Similarly, select appropriate rack

Schneider Electric 4 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●The screen will look like this: ●Note: option for selecting CPU is appeared in the window. ●Drop-down the CPU selection box and select an appropriate CPU with Ethernet communication. ●Click on APPLY button

Schneider Electric 6 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Click on drop-down window of NETWORK SEGMENT and select MYNEWORK ●In IP address field, write 127.0.0.1. and press OK button. ●Properties window will be closed. Then close the NEW PLC window by clicking OK button.
