3.  Graduated cylinder measures VOLUME  Volume is how much space an object takes up  Volume is measured in milliliters (mL)

4.  Spring Scale measures WEIGHT  Weight is a measure of the amount of gravity on an object  Weight is measured in Newtons (N)

5.  Triple Beam Balance measures MASS  Mass is how much matter is in an object  Mass is measured in grams

6.  Thermometer measure heat  Temperature is measured in degrees Celsius

7.  Meter Stick measures DISTANCE  Distance is how much space is between two points  Distance is measured in meters (m).

8.  Beaker measures NOTHING  The purpose of a beaker is to store liquids  YOU NEVER MEASURE LIQUIDS IN A BEAKER. IT IS NOT ACCURATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
