4.  Depending on version of PowerPoint.. But in both the 2003 & 2007, the Custom Animation panel can be opened by…  clicking on the animations tab  choosing Custom Animation

5.  This is a hands-on workshop…. So go ahead.. You have a couple minutes… ◦ Start up Power Point ◦ Create a slide with a title, and clip art  Think about how you’d like to grab your audience’s attention with that slide

6.  Adding Effects  Timing the effect  On click  With or After Previous  Creating a path

7.  Type in some text on your slide  Highlight it  Choose Effect  Choose how to start

8.  Highlight what you’d like to animate  Choose an effect

9.  You can choose to time the entrance of individual lines of text

11.  Setting the path is under the Add Effect button, under Motion Paths. Some common ones are given, and you can draw your own.

14.  Besides the sound effects that come with PowerPoint you can add music, other sound files, or your voice to slides. To add your voice: ◦ Click on Insert ◦ Click on Sound ◦ Record Sound
