5. How does God emphasize the special importance of this commandment? Ephesians 6:2,3 God emphasizes the importance of this commandment by adding a special promise to it.

6. Who are the people whom God places in authority over us? Ephesians 6:1-2 Hebrews 13:7,17 1 Peter 2:13,14 God places people over me in my home, my church, and my government.

7. What blessings does God give me through those whom he places over me? Hebrews 13:7 1 Timothy 4:16 Romans 13:3 1 Timothy 5:8 1 Thessalonians 2:7 Ephesians 6:4 God places these people over me to provide many wonderful blessings both for my body and my soul.

8. How does God want me to honor these people he has placed over me to provide me with many blessings? Colossians 3:20 Hebrews 13:17, Titus 3:1 Galatians 5:13 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, Romans 13:7 Proverbs 23:22 Leviticus 19:32 God wants us to honor them by obeying them in a spirit of love and respect at all times.
