2 Goals of the RCRA…  Aims to reduce the amount of waste generated, through source reduction and recycling  Ensures the management of waste in an environmentally sound manner.  Protects human health and the natural environment from the potential hazards of waste disposal.  Designed to improve energy conservation and natural resources.

3 Description of Function… Description of Function: A principal federal law in the United States that governs the disposal of solid waste and hazardous waste. Agency/ Group Responsible for Regulation and Enforcement: EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is responsible for the regulation and enforcement of RCRA.
