CASE STUDY ANALYSIS What to do? 1. Identify and define the key business terms in the case study. Make sure you have exact definitions and explanations which have direct relevance to the case study. 2. Sketch out the main characters in the case study. who are they? What are their roles? If they are leaders, what are their qualities or style?

3. Identify a mission or vision if one is not given. what are the organization's main objectives. 4. Which market is the organization currently operating in? Is it a niche or a mass market? Who are the key competitors? 5.Determine who the internal and external stakeholders are.

6. Undertake a PEST or STEEPLE analysis from the stimulus. 7. What is the organization’s current financial position? Are there any liquidity and profitability concerns

6. Do any areas of concern in the organization immediately present themselves? For example; Motivation Communication Leadership and management issues

HL-ADDITIONAL 9. What is the prevailing corporate culture in the organization? Is it appropriate given the financial position, leadership style adopted and external environment? 10. To what extent does change need to take place? What are the key driving or restraining forces for change? Need to draw up a force field analysis for the firm.

11. Is the company too centralized or decentralized? how important is the informal organization? 12. Find out the degree and nature of conflict suggested within the case study
