3 Cemanahuac Educational Community  Located in Cuernavaca, Mexico  Classes meet for 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday  After classes, students can participate in cultural activities  Students take a placement exam on the first day at the school  Class size is limited to 5 students

4 Cemanahuac Educational Community  Students attend Cuernavaca Campus for 2 weeks  For 1 week students attend the Rural Studies Campus in Buenavista de Cuellar  On the weekends, students participate in excursions. One of the excursions is to the ruins at Teotihuacan

5 Housing  In both Cuernavaca and Buenavista de Cuellar, students live with families that have been screened.  Students are expected to speak Spanish in the house. Most families do not speak English.  3 meals are provided by the family. Families have been trained in how to provide “safe” meals for Americans.  We can request Wakefield students be paired up with a family.

6 Costand Payment  The approximate cost is $1,933—the one variable is airfare.  Price includes registration, tuition, room and board, textbook, 2 excursions, ground transfer to/from airport in Mexico City/Cuernavaca, and airfare.  It does not include spending money.  Payment is made to Wakefield. Wakefield then cuts a check to Cemanahuac and the travel agency.
