General Exam Techniques 200 How do you answer Question A: close textual analysis for 10 marks? Just like you do the unseen prose. 5 quotes with 5 analysis: “this suggests...this implies”.

General Exam Techniques 300 How do you structure your answer to Questions B or C? 1. Your first answer to the question (with evidence/quotes) 2. Your second answer to the question (with evidence/quotes) 3. Argue the opposite viewpoint and prove that it is wrong/weaker (with evidence/quotes) 4. Conclusion—apply your answer to the entire novel and come to a conclusion about the topic

Unseen Poem Analysis 100 Will the poem be modern? Will the question ever change (or always be the same)? Yes. No.
