SDC Alternate workflows Initial workflow - Coupled or synchronous Alternate workflows –De-coupled E.g Initial clinical encounter and subsequent follow-up are not a single, seamless transaction Variation 2 – Multiple URLs back to the same reporter? Can the spec handle this? –When initial message meets need No need to return a URL, just an acknowledgement –Batch Many transaction at once Might include the prior two options
