Student EDIT 5027 Fall 2013 Rebecca Gibson

Homepage Here is an example of what a student homepage may look like. The homepage message will be created by the administrator and can be changed at any time to include pertinent information for its users.

Side Menu The side menu appears on each page while logged into Trajecsys. This is an index for quick access to all pages within the system. Menu icons are based on only the features needed and can be altered by the administrator. Click on each of the menu icons with a box around it to see what information is on that page.

Documents This page’s information is also created by the network administrator. It gives the student quick access to any documents needed to perform or while performing clinical duties. This will also eliminate some use of internet devices and unauthorized computer access while in the clinical setting.

Clock In/Out This feature allows the student to clock in or out while in the clinical setting. As you can see, it tells the student the exact time of clock in and would be the official clock. The only selection needed is the clinical site.

Daily Logsheet This is where the student logs their daily activities. There are several selections listed here. These selections can be changed or removed by the administrator as needed. As the activities are logged, they show up in list form on the bottom of the screen for the student to verify at a glance.

Reports This is one of the best features of Trajecsys. Students have access to several different kinds of reports. The parameters of the reports and what’s included are all selected by the administrator. Click on the report types with a box to find out more about them.

Reports: Time Totals This feature allows the student to see what their total clinical time is and exactly what time they clocked in or out. Here is an example of what a time total report might look like.

Reports: Procedures This is my absolute FAVORITE feature of Trajecsys. It eliminates an enormous amount of paperwork and time because it builds a procedure checklist on its own as procedures are logged. It shows how many were done, what level of participation was used, when the student received a competency, when the competency was passed, and whether the competency has been officially approved all in one report. Here is an excerpt of an example of what a Procedures Report might look like.

Reports: Student Evaluation This section can be named different things and have several different options other than the one listed, but basically, this is so that the student can view evaluations and comments made about their clinical performance. This could also be: Rotation Evaluations Clinical Instructor Evaluations of the Student Proficiency Evaluations

Comp Evals This is where the student can review evaluations performed on them specifically about competencies. Here is an example of what one of those may look like as evaluations are built and assigned points by the administrator.

Other Evaluations This is where the students will come in order to fill out the evaluations that they are required to perform. This could include: Room checklists Clinical site evaluations Clinical instructor evaluations
