2. T UTORING Tuesday 8:00 – 8:25 Thursday 3:30 – 4:00 Or By Appointment With the exception of Faculty Meeting Times, there will usually be a 7 th grade science teacher available for tutoring before or after school everyday.

3. C ANVAS Canvas is a Learning Management System Allows students and teachers to manage their coursework electronically Web-based 24 hours a day/7 days a week from Internet connected computers or mobile devices Parents access will most likely be available beginning next week. Canvas log-ins will be the same as Skyward Email addresses will be the same as Skyward (please double check to make sure your email is correct)

4. C ANVAS Modules are based on course Units. All assignments are in Canvas for make-up and study materials. Online course work is assigned by the teacher. All assignments show due dates, but only online assignments must be done on that date.

5. T EXTBOOK All students will be keep a personal copy at school of their Science Fusion textbook. This is a consumable book and students will be pulling out pages throughout the year. An online version is available at www-k6.thinkcentral.com

6. G RADES LATE WORK- All late work will be for a maximum grade of a 70 for On-level and 60 for Pre-AP RE-TAKE- All work can be re-taken following tutoring or remediation for a maximum grade of a 70.
