Population Dynamics Using Multi Agent Modeling Annie Martin Computer Systems Lab Period 3, 2005-2006

First Model

Key Features One Agent Species (Bunny) Space has only grass feature One Agent per Space Agent traits limited to: maxAge, birthRate, vision, metabolism, maturity Age

Second Model

Key Features Two Agent Species (Bunnies, Foxes) Foxes must eat Bunnies. One Agent per Space Agents have a new trait, constant across a species: survivalFood is the miniumum amount of Food an Agent must possess before dying. Successful traits “spawn” from parent

Fifth Model

Key Features Four Species (Bunny, Fox, Worm, Bird) Multiple Agents per Space Spaces now contain Grass and Waste Agent Attributes are determined by two genes, one from the whole population, one from the parent.

Current Bugs Problem with multiple Agents/Space Problem with graphing mature v. total maturity rates Problem with waste determination.
