Fact: 1.25 million pitbulls are killed per year. Don’t judge a book by its cover Guilty as charged Can the damage be undone? This dog might be dangerous for one reason. You might say “Oh get that dog away from me” what the pitbull is saying is, “get that owner away from me” The pit bull might have caused the most death deaths from a dog in 2003, but the owner competes the dog in dog fights, sometimes fight till the death! The dog gets confused who to trust and uses its instinx. POWER WORDS! With my experience with pitbulls I can say yes. With a nice loving and caring home, and owners who love them. For example my dog Millie was abused and hurt but again with a nice home the damage can be undone.

Did you know when a dog injures a person not only do they put the dog down, the owner gets a huge fine and sometimes goes to jail for abusing the dog. The owner is the one responsible. I feel you should know this because the public needs to know the truth about pitbulls. And how its really not their fault. Any type of dog, even the loving pitbull can be trained to be mean. For example star football player Michael Vick trained over fifty dogs and twenty three died in the process. Vick served a year in jail and a ginormous fine. Fun Fact: Pit Bulls aren’t great guard dogs. They’re too trusting of humans, and may greet an intruder as a new friend.

Some of the most loving and caring loyal dogs is the pit bull. One example of this is two pit bull dogs who helped dig out survivors for the 911 attack, and that takes true bravery and courage. Fun fact Did you know seventy percent of shelters are pitbulls. Fun fact: Theodore Roosevelt owned a Pit Bull named Pete. Helen Keller owned a Pit Bull named Stubby.
