2. Vocabulary  Adaptations – a part of an organism that changes to help an organism survive  Organism – a living thing

3. Plant Adaptations Centers  You will be going to different centers and looking at different plants  You will have 5-7 minutes at each center  At each center you need to do the following:  Write the name of the plant  Draw a neat and accurate drawing of the plant  Answer two questions:  What external systems does this plant have?  What do those external systems do to help this plant survive?

4. Closure  Choose two plants from the exploration. How were these two plants similar? How were they different?

6. Assessment  After watching the movie answer these two questions:  What external structures does the Venus Fly Trap have to help it survive?  How it is different from other plants we have studied?
