1 Know the Code Drexel University Residential Policies

2 ID Cards If you forget your Dragon Card, you will be asked a series of questions at the front desk, such as your student ID number, or birthday. If you believe that you have misplaced your ID and not lost it, you can go to the Dragon Card Office and get a temporary ID. This ID will only be valid for a few days. If you cannot find your ID card within that time, a new one must be purchased.

3 Keys If you forget your room key, or are locked out, you will need a spare from the front desk Your first two lock outs are free, and then a $25.00 charge will be added to your account If you do not return your spare key after 24 hours, a new lock will be ordered and you will be charged for the new keys and new door lock

4 Guests All guests must have a photo ID with them (Dragon cards, licenses, school IDs, passports, etc.) A resident is permitted to have 3 guests at a time A resident MUST sign in their guests and sign them out Guests are permitted to stay overnight for a total of 3 consecutive nights on campus. Emergency ID are only given out to people who are under 18 or parents without an ID. Otherwise, it must be an emergency situation, where in good conscience the building cannot turn someone away. An EMERGENCY need must be demonstrated.

5 Drugs and Alcohol As stated in Drexel’s Student Handbook: Drug Policy- The possession and/or use of narcotics or drugs, other than those medically prescribed, properly used, and in the original container is prohibited. Alcohol Policy violations include- Possession, use, or distribution of alcohol by underage persons. Disruptive conduct due all or in part to being under the influence of alcohol. Providing alcohol to underage persons or providing a space for the consumption of alcohol by underage persons. Possession of an open alcohol container in a public area regardless of the individual's age. Possession or use of bulk containers on campus including, but not limited to, kegs, beer balls, or any other object that would promote binge drinking

6 Mail Mail hours will be posted on the door for all students You must bring your ID with you to retrieve a package No one else can pick up your mail or packages You will receive an email indicating that your package has arrived to your hall
