Objective To get familiar with different cultures and economics. – Personal definition of acculturation: To be able to interpret behaviour or rituals from other people and to transfer it to your “culture”. Adapt to a different environment. – Acculturation is important to be able to focus on our academic performance.

Food and Language (Inscribed in)? – Need to adapt preferences to the available products Different products Different prices compared to our hometown Dutch descriptions, wich we cannot understand We derive a lot of methods to solve the problems: – Maps (transportation, markets, banks) – Apps – A 5-minute guide book – “How-not-to-Starve Guide”

6. Reflections Concordantly we agreed that the most essential problem is “how to get ‘the right’ food without understanding the Dutch language” Divinding tasks: – Taking pictures of similar food – Disigning the layout – Making the presentation
