Safety Cartoon Directions: Draw a cartoon illustrating what can happen when laboratory safety rules are not followed. Include (on the front): ◦ at least 5 lab rules being broken ◦ a title for the cartoon (example: “Peanuts”) ◦ your name (or initials) and the date “worked” into your drawing ◦ a byline (“by your name”) printed on the same line as the title Heathcliff By George Gallagher

Safety Cartoon Directions (continued) Include (on the back): ◦ a complete heading (name, #, period and date) ◦ a numbered list of the 5 rules being broken using a “DO NOT-type format Example: 1) DO NOT leave an experiment unattended) ◦ Extra Credit: numerical list of the proper, and properly spelled name for 5 pieces of scientific equipment depicted in your drawing (note---in order to do this you must put 5 pieces of scientific equipment into your drawing) An example would be 1) Erlenmeyer flask; 2) Bunsen burner etc… Using a generic term like flask, bottle or burner does not count.
