2. The role of weaponry has evolved across many centuries. The role of weaponry has changed the outcomes of major battles throughout world history. This is especially the case in Egyptian history. The adaptation and innovation of novel military hardware has shaped the political geography in Egypt. This Webquest will illustrate the evolution of weaponry from simplistic melee and projectile weapons to intricate technologically driven missile systems. The student will research the impact of weapons that changed the northern African region, their legacy and the culture that wielded them. Furthermore, the student will be able to conceptualize the ways that new weapons changed war strategies and the life of soldiers throughout recorded time.
