1. The curse of E-mail (Or how to get Kirk Storey off your Lodge Secretary’s back in 14 easy steps)

2. Step 1: Click on CLMS2PC

3. Step 2: Log in with your Elks.org username and password

4. Step 3: Select “Email List”

5. Step 4: It should look like this

6. Step 5: Click on “Export Data” button at bottom of screen

7. Step 6: Click on the radio button for “Excel 2007 (xlsx)” change the Output directory to your desktop then click on “Export” (OK, that might be three steps in one) OKAY, that’s three steps in one, so sue us….

8. Step 7: Click “Yes”

9. Step 8: Your Excel file should look like this (This isn’t really a step) Select the column with e-mail addresses (click in the gray area at the top of the column—this is the real step 8)

10. Step 9: With the e-mail column highlighted, click on “Cut”

11. Step 10: Open a new Excel file, and with column A highlighted right click and paste (Two, two, two steps in one….)

12. Step 11: Click on Save

13. Step 12: Name the file “Lodge Email List for Kirk” and save it do your desktop

14. Steps 14 and 15, the final chapter Send Kirk an e-mail at Kstorey@ktc.com And attach the excel file you just saved to your desktop It’s so easy a Cave Elk could do it…. (yes we skipped step 13….Halloween is next week and Elks are a superstitious herd)
