15 VII. Lest Any man Should Boast Glory – claim that God owes If God owed – not a gift If not a gift – Christ not needed The grace of God keeps us from boasting.

16 “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
