These lyrics try to express the idea that life does not need to be glamorous and the simplest, most inexpensive possessions can be used to have a great time. Throughout my life I have enjoyed spending time with my family. The simplest thing in the world is using time to connect with family but is easily pushed aside by the materialistic expectations of society.
