Challenges in trialing and evaluating the products and services in the project time span Challenges with such a large transnational team: Delays Communication, technology and language problems Long distances and time-consuming travelling to meetings Holidays at different times of year between partnerships Different organisation structures But some obstacles along the way...

Transnational team achievements Exchange programme – Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Canada Scottish ultrasound course started up in Sweden Swedish web tool – also development of other local web sites in Norway, Scotland/Western Isles and Ireland Recruitment officer – Greenland and Scotland Highlands Promotional films – all partners Yearly wheel - Scotland/Western Isles and Norway Job ad campaign – Greenland and Norway

What have we learned from working in a transnational team? Communication is the key Being able to plan ahead, foresee challenges To be realistic about the time span, resources... and budget... Knowledge about other rural and remote areas and similar challenges and situations Sharing new ideas and experiences

Other key outcomes Facilitates the transfer of solutions across countries, regions and sectors Being a part of a large network Continuing activities beyond the end of the project... And of course being able to visit all these wonderful rural places!
