Course objective To understand the image fundamentals and mathematical transforms necessary for image processing and to study the image enhancement techniques. What is meant by image? An image can be defined as a two- dimensional signal (analog or digital), that contains intensity (grayscale), or color information arranged along an x and y spatial axis.
