1. ETHNOGRAPHIC HOTEL Kozichino, Bulgaria

2. LOCATION The village of Kozichino is located in the central east part of Bulgaria, nearby the Black Sea coast.

3. LOCATION At almost equal distance are the towns of Varna and Burgas and at close proximity are the resorts of Pomorie, Sunny Beach, Obzor and Bjala.

4. HISTORY Kozichino is founded at the time of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. The legend says, that the rulers have released prisoners against the obligation to populate the village and to protect the state from aggressive tribes, attacking the Kingdom from the North. Since then the village people are treated with respect and even during the turkish yoke the region has been preserved from any turkish influence. The local church of Saint Petka (Sveta Petka) is build in 1847. The local folklore and culture are very interesting and the local people are famous with their hot-blooded and freedom-loving temper. Intriguing fact is that during his stay in Greece after the end of the Crimean war, Charles Dickens has written about the village and has sent there his correspondents in order to describe the life and habits of this incredible place in the East Balkans. Presently the place develops eco and village tourism, with a number of guest houses, villa’s and family hotels.

5. THE ETHNOGRAPHIC HOTEL The ethnographic hotel is located in the center of the village, on a land plot of 1780 sq.m. It consists of following buildings and features: 1. Hotel with build-up area (BA) of 175 sq.m.: -1 st floor : Hotel 175 sq.m. and Restaurant 155 sq.m. + Garden 42 sq.m. -2 nd floor: 204 sq.m. -3 rd floor: 204 sq.m. -4 th floor: Attic 91 sq.m.
