2.  You are to create a “book” of poetry  You book can be a PowerPoint, Prezi, word doc, or hand-made.  This works best if you create a theme for all of the poems  Each book should contain the following:  2 six word statements  2 Haiku  1 Modern sonnet  2 Free verse poems  1 Poem of whatever style you like POETRY ASSIGNMENT

8.  A free verse can be  As long or as short as you want it to be.  Each line could go for a really long time; like this long.  Or it  Could be  Really  short.  Sometimes it might rhyme  In a way quite sublime.  Or it could flow freely instead.  It is up to you, the poet, but each word should be:  Precise FREE VERSE EXAMPLE 1
