Parks Lakeside Park is beautiful, 14 acres, and fun for family. Walk over the bridge and enjoy the nature and stop and take a picture with a huge bear!

City Fun Facts The Dallas Arts District is the largest urban arts district in the United States. The 52 foot statue that greets visitors at the annual State Fair of Texas is the tallest cowboy in Texas. The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is the No. 1 visitor and leisure destination in Texas.

Earthquakes in Dallas 65 earthquakes in the past year 103 total for Texas There have been more earthquakes in Dallas since 2008. They are small but more frequent. This may be due to the increase in drilling for oil.
